This website is a collection of information about the 2018 Artists in Residence program in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It includes weekly press releases, photographs, artist bios/interviews, and special events pages. The summer-long program has been run by the Fredericton Arts Alliance, a registered charity, for 15 years. The Artist in Residence program takes place at the Soldiers’ Barracks in Casemate #11 in downtown Fredericton’s Historic Garrison District. The barracks were built between 1826 and 1828, and the casemates at the bottom are now used for 7 boutiques, some storage for the City of Fredericton’s Under the Stars Film Series, and the FAA’s Artist in Residence Program. The casemate is open to the public seven days a week: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
